A day for us.

On Friday evening around dinner my parents called to say they would pick up the kids on Saturday morning at 9:00 am and keep them until Sunday around dinner time.  I did not say no.   I do miss my kiddos though!!!   I did call and check to make sure all were okay and that they had a good day.  In the background I did hear my sweet Joshua saying how much he missed me.  It does tug at my heart as well as put a smile on my face.   I know my Dad wanted to have some time with Stephen and then my Mom chimed in to take the other two.   They ended up bowling, eating pizza and ice cream.  Aren't grandparents great!!??  

With no kids in tow we decided to drive to a mall in PA for the apple store.  There is a problem with Bill's cord on this power charger.  I have not been to this mall for many a years and it felt like a little indoor city.  It is situated in a circle but it is enormous.   Our motivation for heading that way was to visit the IKEA store in a town not too far from there.  We were on the hunt for some book shelves.  Hopefully they will help tidy up some of the "mess" and "clutter" that I can't stand.   (We did purchase two but we still need to build.)   Saw a lot of cute ideas for when we do purchase a home here.  Lots of cute little accents for kids' rooms.   They had an amazing kitchen set up that I just loved.  We shall see!!!

After shopping I was hungry.  We ate at a place called Red Stone.  Never heard of it before.  I really was in the mood for a good burger.  We both order the bison burger.   A lot of food!!  The mashed potato side was a biiiiiig hit.  I loved the flavor of them.  I have come to the conclusion that I am a potato freak.  I just love having them.  In all forms.   We also ordered an appetizer that was extremely different.  Buffalo jumbo shrimp.  YUMMY!!!  We will definitely attempt this soon!!  

We arrived home about 5:00 ish and I needed a nap.  My 20 minutes did wonders for me.  We then realized we were in need of some dessert.  Off to find some.  We stopped by another store looking for computer stuff.  Found that Best Buy is now selling musical instruments.   Got side-tracked there for about 40 minutes.    We had dessert at Panera.  Not my favorite choice.   But I did enjoy my tea!   

We needed to make one more stop at the grocery store!  Where we spent several minutes more than originally planned.    To finally come home around 8:30 pm.   

I end my day with my head bowed to my parents, thanking them immensely for giving my husband and me this wonderful day together!!
