My Youngest is 16!

Earlier in the month my youngest turned 16.  He is an amazing young man.  It is humbling to see how much he loves the Lord and wants to honor God in all he does.  Now don't get me wrong he is still a teenager at times.
This past year has been a challenge for him but he is rising up and I am just in awe at how he handles things.
Without further ado here are some photos of my young one.

Wishing him happy birthday with his favorite - Yardley Ice House

Since running has been difficult, he wanted a bike.

Out at PJ's Pancake house - another one of his favorites.

Being annoyed - I mean loved - by his older sister.

Laughter

Laughter truly is good medicine.  Had some sad news this week.  My heart is heavy for a friend's family that is grieving the loss of their mother.

Pain and sorrow are meant to be a part of our lives.  There is truly no way to escape these actions.  But God in His infinite wisdom and love grants us joy and laughter.

But today, God shined down on my family in the form of laughter from the next generation. So blessed and honored to be able to have a group over where they can enjoy themselves and feel very comfortable in our home.

Mini Vacation

I love to be able to get away as a family.  With the changing family status, that can be difficult to achieve.
For 3 years now Abs and I have been wanted to go to Niagara Falls.  Last week, we got our chance.
Here are some photos:

The view from the American side.  Next to the American Falls. Viewing Canada.

The Maid of the Mist boat.

ON the Maid of the Mist.

View of the Canadian Falls from the boat.

View of the Falls from our lunch spot.

I was actually able to straddle the line for 2 countries.  This is something that I have always wanted to do.

Falls at night.

Fireworks!!!

We stopped at Letchworth State Park on the way home.
