Such a Pretty Sight

And sound. Let me just say how much I missed a dishwasher. The last 4 weeks have not been fun inside our household. Not many looking forward to dinner dishes. Well Thursday morning made me happy happy happy (to quote Phil Robertson).
She is nice and quite. And looks good too. Here's to dirty dishes and smiling faces.

Field Trip

Love it when we can visit a place and make it bring school to life. We learned that Wendy's opened in 1970. So we visited one for lunch on Thursday.

Ride Like the Wind

Outside again for horseback riding. Yay. Beautiful.

Tea Time

My newest obsession is the Chai Latte for the Keurig. Yummy and relaxing. Oh and the m&m's are a wonderful addition.

Walk

Katie and I decided to walk the Five Mile Woods since it was such a nice day. We may try that more often.

IJM

IJM had a weekend to make people aware of the injustices all over the world with slave trade, prostitution, and oppression in labor. Barb Seidle from our church has been called to make this known to our community. I am thankful for her involvement and willingness to make me think outside my bubble. Please check out their website www.ijm.org and prayerfully consider what The Lord is calling you to do with the information you now have.

Ravi Zacharias

So very excited to be present to hear Ravi share about the voice of following Christ. Such a great night what a tremendous opportunity for My family to hear this.

Spring has sprung

Let us hope the nicer weather is here to stay.

Easter

Well this Easter will be one that will be remembered as the one that didn't happen.  You see we were to go over to my parents house, but my mom called and had to cancel because she was sick.  They were babysitting Eva as Tiffany had Gianna on Wednesday and my Dad was driving Jason to hospital.  Eva had to go to ER for 106 fever at one hospital and then they had to run an get Tiff and Gianna at another  hospital.
So with all that craziness we decided to stay home.  I however, went over to my parents house to pickup the easter baskets and eggs she always does for my kids.  So by the time I got back home and made dinner we didn't eat until 7:30p.  Crazy.
I sure hope everyone's easter was memorable too.
