I am a big fan of this website and am blown away by a lot of the videos. But this one was very powerful.

Bill at the Grill
We always use a charcoal grill. Here was Bill cooking up breakfast. Some hot water and yummy oatmeal.
This was during the morning of Irene. Sunday 8/28/2011. We were pretty prepared. We have decided to purchase a generator. Heard quite a few throughout neighborhood and that causes us to wonder. 14 hours without power is not so bad. The biggest concern is refrigerator. Thankfully it wasn't too hot.

Soap Box 101
Okay we are in the throngs of football practice. I have two playing. Josh is local and Stephen for his school. (just a reminder he goes about 30 mins away). Here is my complaint: I am grateful he attends a school that puts a high priority on the bible, that is why we sent him. So tell me why it is that the coaches are not mindful of the time that practice should end! Huge grrrrrrr moments here. If the boys, young men, are late there are consequences but they pay no heed to our families when they are late. Upwards of 30 mins. Very frustrating.
Stepping off now.

She actually has a full set of braces now. Took over a year. Who knows how long this will last as there is now a new tooth that is turned 180 degrees. Her mouth is a mess.

Baseball Nite
Our church, Calvary Chapel Mercer County, does a group outing for the Phillies vs Mets. We have always gone as a whole family or in part. I was none too happy since my Mets did not do well. (I am the only family member that routes for them). Here are a few photos.
