Celebration Sunday

The new curriculum we are using suggests a celebration after each unit. The children can present a poster or talk about one of the areas of focus during said unit. Well we completed unit 1 and our friends came over for some food and fun.

Season is Over

A bittersweet season. I think this year I have been equal parts complainer and equal parts cheerer. Stephen had a great year with key plays. So proud of his efforts. Looking forward to the future.

Vote

I love to exercise my right to vote.  Bill and I went together this year, a first for us.  We timed it beautifully.  Late morning only had 6 or so people in front of us.  However, when we were leaving there were at least 20 people in line.  Still very manageable numbers considering as we drove past another polling place they were lined and wrapped about the fire station.  Great to see though!!!  May we never take for granted this freedom to pick and choose who should run our country.  Thank you to those who defend this right!!  May God truly bless these United States of America!
